Yes the specs say pcie3 but as a rule it's backwardly compatible with Pcie 2 and as I say 1. The ti I am using is in length the width of the motherboard (mATX) it's dual slot and standard height. Dual slot simply means you insert it in first PCIe slot and the cooler/fans cover the adjacent slot.
